Our team has been building and remodeling homes in the DC area since 2006, and we've completed many projects in McLean over the years. One of our recent McLean projects was a full home renovation for a colonial-style house. The homeowners are former NHL goalie Braden Holtby and his wife Brandi. This project was representative of the kind of work these older properties usually need. The exterior had windows and rooflines that never lined up with the house's dormers, so we reworked the entire home with black brick and standing-seam metal roofing. We also pulled the stair tower away from the wall to fit in a three-story wall of glass.

The kitchen became the center of the house. Walnut cabinetry and a mitered quartzite countertop anchor the space, and a butler's pantry took enough storage off the main kitchen to open it up around a new eat-in nook. We know what it takes to bring out the best of McLean's older homes, and we are ready to do the same for yours.

1 | Consultation

Every project starts with a visit to your home. We talk through your goals, your must-haves, and your budget, and get a real sense of how you use the space before any design work begins.

2 | Design

One of our in-house architects turns your goals into a buildable plan. They work with you to plan layouts and materials while respecting your budget. 

3 | Construction

Your project moves into the hands of one of our in-house crews, with a project lead managing the schedule and communication.

4 | Close Out

The full team walks the finished project with you and addresses any remaining concerns you have.
