In this Logan Circle row house, we modernized the kitchen while preserving the home’s historic charm. Blue cabinetry brings a fresh, contemporary tone to the rear of the house, complemented by a classic black-and-white checkered floor. A folding Euro-Line door opens the kitchen up to the rear patio, perfect for entertaining and an indoor-outdoor living experience. The end result is a sophisticated, colorful kitchen that brings modern convenience to this row house.

Located in the iconic Watergate Complex, this condo remodel called for a high-functioning kitchen where the owners could entertain guests after attending shows at the nearby Kennedy Center. The kitchen now features custom blue cabinetry, a black reeded peninsula with a brass toe kick, and a marble tile backsplash with gold accents—nodding to the Art Deco influences the clients love. Hidden appliances and clever storage maximize every inch of the limited footprint.

In this Bethesda kitchen, the vaulted beadboard ceiling and exposed beams add instant charm and height to the space. Muted blue cabinetry grounds the room with a traditional feel, while black countertops and stainless appliances introduce a modern edge. This Bloomingdale kitchen was reimagined for clients who wanted to restore character to their flipped row home. We created a new layout with a built-in banquette and bar, opening the kitchen up to natural light and improving flow to the backyard. Deep blue shaker cabinets—custom colored to match Benjamin Moore’s “Soot”—set a moody, dramatic tone. Black leathered soapstone counters and aged brass hardware round out the vintage-inspired design, while a site-built custom range hood completes the look.

For this Chevy Chase renovation, the kitchen was part of a much larger overhaul that included reworking the floorplan, updating the facade, and adding a new patio. The design blends classic and contemporary elements, with navy blue shaker cabinetry used just on the island—a great option if you don’t want to commit to blue throughout the entire kitchen. White perimeter cabinets, Mikado quartz counters, and warm wood floors keep the space feeling bright and inviting.
