One of the aspects that sets Four Brothers apart from our competition, is the ease with which our designers can incorporate unique and custom cabinetry into their designs. They are not stuck in the box of using standard sizes. This is possible because in addition to our five remodeling crews, we have a full-time cabinet maker who builds, finishes, and delivers these items himself. This eliminates lead times and the exorbitant cost that is usually associated with custom work. In turn, this gives us the ability to tailor the design/build process to individual client needs while remaining within budget.

For over two years now, Four Brothers has been a proud member of a cooperative cabinet shop located just outside of Washington, DC in the city of Hyattsville Maryland. Our wood shop, which is approximately 75’ wide by 200’ long, is staffed with a collaborative of woodworkers who share state of the art woodworking machines and equipment. All machines are connected to an extraction system, and compressed air is used to power many of the hand tools. Our shop has a conditioned spray booth, which allows us to apply professional grade lacquer and paint finishes, in various colors, tints and sheens.

At the moment, we offer a line of high end, fully custom built-ins that are available in a variety of wood species: walnut, teak, cherry, maple, and paint finishes to name a few. Here is an example of a wall of built-ins we produced and installed in one of our full home addition projects in Chevy Chase, DC.

Our cabinet maker also produces floating shelves, custom vanities, wooden counter tops and custom closets for almost all of our bathroom, bedroom, addition, and kitchen projects. Check out some recent examples here:
